"even at 130mph, a Smart Car still ousted us out of the left lane!"

Despite the fact that Ken knew I had no use for Sally, he still decided to bring her over, thinking of the good times he and her could have in Germany. Sally had been here for only a month when Ken asked her out to Germany for a trip of a few days and despite the fact that we tried to have a good time while down there for Thanksgiving, it was tough. The trip to the Southern part of Germany was long and exhausting and let's face it: our goal was to bring back all European appliances we had not inherited from people moving back to the U.S.. as well as load up on American groceries. The time to visit the place was thus reduced to a minimum, but we still got to see one big sight in Landstuhl and Ken got to do his thing with Sally: test her out on the famous Autobahn! The test did not last for very long but it made my husband very happy to hear Sally roar over 130 miles per hour (Yes, Sally is Ken's Mustang if you hadn't guessed). We did not keep her to that speed for too long though because like most American cars, Sally doesn't hold the road that well on long straight lanes; she likes curves and her tires are not adapted to breaking at such high speeds. Impressively enough, even at 130mph, a Smart Car (www.smart.com) still ousted us out of the left lane! :) So who was showing off on the German highway now, huh?
